For years I've used photography to focus on key areas such as framing and light. It has also allowed me to experiment with a variety of mediums including different types of film and trying learn the fundamentals of film processing and exposure.

I've always hoped, that in a small way, the skills I learn in photography can also be an influence in my film making, both digital (video) and analogue (film).

I've taken a selection of film and digital photos and categorised them in the way they fit in my mind. What is quite clear from the selection is that people and the details that surround them, are often the main focus. I find humans, their bodies and faces, both dynamic and unique.
